Colorectal Surgery
Normal Physical Exam

HEENT is normocephalic, eyes appear equal, round, reactive to light and accommodation, tympanic membranes are clear, neck is supple, no evidence of bruits, and nose is clear.

HEART has regular rate and rhythm, no murmurs.

LUNGS are clear to auscultation and percussion, breath sounds are equal.

ABDOMEN is soft and non-tender. No masses or hernias are evident and bowel sounds are normal and active.

EXTREMITIES present no findings of cyanosis, clubbing or edema. Pulses are intact and normal.

NEUROLOGICAL exam demonstrates motor, sensory, and cranial nerves intact.

GENITOURINARY exam reveals bilateral descended testicles and no testicular masses. No hernias are present.

RECTAL exam reveals normal sphincter tone and no masses present.
