Colorectal Surgery

Like all TooCool products, each is built on a non-proprietary foundation of software, hardware, and firmware.   It utilizes standard Personal Computer architecture and Microsoft technology.

TooCool for Colorectal Surgery is designed to speed the processing of an office note (follow up or post-op), referral letter, H&P, or any combination; for patients undergoing a Colorectal exam.  The actual syntax for each sentence deals with all major factors, to include: presents with, onset, exacerbated by, family and social history, procedure, findings, past medical and surgical history, plan, risk, medications and post-op status are covered behind the scenes within the TooCool design.  TooCool for Colorectal Surgery even uses and/or modifies and existing Normal Physical Exam and Review of Systems.   The generation of the actual letter or clinic note takes about 2-3 seconds when the form is filled out.  The average time of completing the form is about thirty seconds.   The office note, referral letter, and/or H&P is generated, literally, before the patient has left the building.

With many TooCool products, the physician does not even use TooCool, but rather highlights a TooCool form or cheat-sheet and provides it to their assistant, who in turn operates TooCool.  The particular example shown (TooCool for Colorectal Surgery) also generates a Courtesy Copy letter to a specific physician other than the referral physician.
